In other news, I've added even more Stars screencaps, if you can believe it! Episodes 170 through 173 are now available. I feel like I've been going through these very quickly in the past week, so I hope to have them all done pretty soon. Then I'll start work on the movies and specials!! I'm also working on providing screencaps of all of the senshi's various attacks and transformations, so don't worry: they'll all be available eventually. Today, I added the longer version of Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and Star Serious Laser.

I've been doing some really small updates to information lately, probably a lot of things that people won't notice. There are too many and they're too insignificant to note here, so I'll just say thank you! to all the people who have pointed out minor typos and other things I needed to fix. It really helps a lot!! I've also been working on some more Stars screencaps, so I've added episode 168 and 169. I have also added screencaps of Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and an additional set of images of Space Sword Blaster. I'll be adding more transformatons and attacks in the future!

Check this out: MoonPrism.com has an awesome cosplay section, where the site's owner (who is also a published author) has a great collection of cosplay items for sale. There are some great things such as Sailor Uranus's space sword, and various transformation wands... but what I really like is the fact that she has made some very nice tiaras! Definitely something worth looking into if you are interested in cosplay.

Good news for those of you waiting on screencaps: I've added 624 new screencaps from the opening and episode 167 of the Stars season! I'll be adding more soon, so please don't send me 100 emails asking when I'll add more. o.o Also, as I said in the last update, I've really been trying to update more information, so I've added a summary of episode 044. Of course, that means I've added or updated several pages dealing with information from that episode!

You can now browse the profiles of the Senshi's friends and family members based on the order in which they appear. I've made this list in addtion to the long list on the regular friends/family page so that you can browse them a little more easily, and so that you can find a character without necessarily having to know their name. As I add more episode summaries, I will of course be updating this list!

I have also added several Russian MP3s for download, thanks to Inna! Inna was also kind enough to provide us with a complete list of the Russian episode titles. I have no idea what they say, but there they are! Thanks very much, Inna!

I'm back at episode summaries! Today I added a summary of episode 043 as well as information for all the entries that go along with it (such as the profile pages for Oniwabandana and Nana Asahina). I summarize the Japanese episodes, but don't forget that if you want amazing summaries of the dubbed episodes, you can find them on my affiliate site, Moonkitty.net! I've also made lots of minor changes to various pages, although I'm sure not many people will notice those so there's no point mentioning them all here. Mostly fixing things like typos and stuff.

I've really been concentrating more on updating information than on more screencaps lately. Sorry, guys, I know you're wanting more screencaps, but they'll be here when they're here. Just be patient! After last month's screencap frenzy, I needed a little break from them. I should be back at making those very soon, and I'll definitely be adding some Stars caps by the end of this month.

Sailor Moon Mentions:

I love the online community Gaia Online - I've been a member for years now, and I've always been a big fan! My username on there is BettyAnn (appropriately enough); message me any time! Back to the point, I was surprised (and thrilled!) to learn that their new Monthly Collectibles (items that can be purchased for $2.50) for February include a set that is obviously inspired by Sailor Moon! It's called the "Magical Schoolgirl" item, which is very generic (they often parody popular series without directly naming them), and you'll see similarities with Sailor Moon and other shoujo anime/manga. Highlights of the set include a uniform and bows that are a lot like the Senshi's, and hair very similar to ChibiUsa's or ChibiChibi's! How interesting! I definitely plan on getting these items as soon as I can.

For further reading, Genvid has transcribed an article from Bitch magazine which comparing the "girl power" of Sailor Moon vs. the Spice Girls. It's a very interesting read! The series is getting older, and not many people remember it. References are few and far between these days, so it's always refreshing to see new references to Sailor Moon.

I finished up the last few episodes of screencaps of the SuperS season the other day, but I've been unable to get online to make the actual update. Well, here it is! For your viewing pleasure, there are now 2,112 more screencaps of episodes 163-166!! I'll start work on the StarS season next (and the movies). Look for those coming up pretty soon.

Of course... more screencaps!! Today, I've added 1,583 SuperS screencaps from episodes 160-162. That means I only have four more episodes to go, and I should be able to upload all of those tomorrow! After that, I will be starting on the StarS season, followed up by the movies, and then I'll probably try to do more screencaps from Sera Myu. *whew* lots of work! But worth it in the end.

Kind of seems like I haven't been updating, huh? I actually have been updating when I've had the chance; I just didn't put anything up on the front page. Since the last update I've added 2,026 SuperS screencaps from episodes 154-157. I'm in the middle of doing screencaps for episode 158 now, which is a very cute one! I am hoping to have the entire season finished by the end of the month. That's just a few days away, but I think I can do it! Wish me luck! :)

New year, new look! I've obviously updated the layout with what I feel is a very 80s theme. I really like it a lot, and the more I look at it, the more it grows on me! But if you hate it, please feel free to post complaints in the comments section of this post. I promise not to be offended... I love hearing feedback of any kind about the site. After all, everyone has different tastes! I also have another layout planned for use after this one, but that probably won't come until the Spring.

I have been so busy unpacking from my extended vacation that I haven't had much time for updates beyond the layout. I traveled from Iowa all the way to Florida, then back to Alabama. I think I have pretty much everything unpacked now, so I hope I can get more updates done soon!

I added 179 screencaps of the the following attacks and transformations: Jupiter Crystal Power, Venus Crystal Power, Jupiter Oak Evolution, Venus Love and Beauty Shock. I've got plenty more screencaps to go, just have to sort through them all and pick out the bad ones before I upload them. Expect more screencaps soon!

Just in time for the holidays, I've added 8 new Christmas icons! I love Christmas! In fact, there is an entire gallery of holiday images here on the site which you're sure to enjoy. As always, if you have any that I don't, feel free to donate those!

I also added a summary/DYN of episode 042, which is an excellent episode where Minako talks about her past. Episode updates mean updated pages, so here's a list of the ones I improved: Alan, Game Center Crown, Katarina, Kunzite, Papillon, "The London Youma"

Here's an interesting/hilarious video I found on YouTube, showing a very, very weird cosplay of the first opening of Sailor Moon. The movements are spot-on with the actual opening, but this is definitely weird!! I've gotta tell you... the Luna cosplay is the strangest thing I have seen in a long, long time. Just a little update to let you know that I am still alive! December has been a busy month for me with Christmas shopping, socializing, and everything else. I hope to get lots of updates done in the coming week, because after that I'll be in Iowa for a whole week (from December 21-28). The main page's layout will probably be updated after the new year, and I've already got something planned for that! Now for a bit of news from the web!

E-Transitions.net has selected The Oracle its site of the month for December! I really feel honored to be featured! Check out the site because it has a ton of cool stuff, including clips, episodes, videos, and artwork from various US televisions shows.

The Organization for Transformative Works is "a nonprofit organization established by fans to serve the interests of fans by providing access to and preserving the history of fanworks and fan culture in its myriad forms. We believe that fanworks are transformative and that transformative works are legitimate." I found this link earlier in the week, and I wanted to share it with those of you who enjoy fanworks and hope to see them legally recognized as legitimate in the future.

Another great link is Ayaka502, a new fansite dedicated to Ayaka Komatsu. It has videos, hundreds of pictures, a forum, and much more... including a very, very cute website!

Kali from Kirari-PGSM.net has just gotten married! Congratulations to her!

Brad from the amazing Moonkitty.net has posted his weekly Sailor Moon Roundup with info about what Sailor Moon websites have updated recently. It's wonderful to have such a consolidating list!

The ShyGuy Kingdom has tons of adorable Sailor Moon Sprites! I found this site a few weeks ago, and it was also posted on the forum recently.

Pretty big update today! As you can see, there's a new Christmas-themed layout. I also have a new one prepared for after the holidays, but you'll have to wait for that one! I also added 2,750 SuperS screencaps from episodes 148-153. I told you I had a lot coming! So now the galleries have over 72,000 images, which I am extremely happy about. I hope to get all the way to 100,000 one day.

I also have two brand new affiliates. One is Usagi & Mamoru's Universe, a Usagi and Mamoru domain that has been around for quite a while now. The other is Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The RPG, which is the site for a new Sailor Moon RPG game that is in production right now. I hope that you will check them both out, and help the RPG project in any way you can! It looks like it will be very cool once it is released!

Just a small update for now, but an update nonetheless! I've been working on a lot of screencaps, and I have been able to do MULTIPLE episodes. They aren't online yet, though, because I still need to sort them and thumbnail them, then upload them. Today I added 115 screencaps in the Attacks & Transformations section of Mercury Aqua Rhapsody, Mars Crystal Power, and Mars Flame Sniper. Expect many, many more screencaps tomorrow!

Kind of seems like I haven't been updating, huh? But... I actually have been updating! I just didn't add anything to the main page. I've been on a sort of screencap frenzy for the past few days, and I've added 3,793 caps from SuperS episodes 140-147. That's a lot of screen caps from a lot of episodes! And I'm working on more right now, so I should be completely finished with the SuperS season by the end of December, minimum. I've only got 53 episodes left for the whole series, then the three movies, and then I'm done screencapping for the anime!

After that, I'm going to try to do some Sera Myu screencaps, because there just aren't enough Myu pictures around. And hopefully, I will soon be adding more flash videos to the site so that you can watch Sera Myu from here! I'm considering converting the PGSM episodes to flash as well so that you don't have to download them any more... if you have strong opinions about that, please comment on this post and tell me.

I added a TON of screencaps today! 1860 SuperS screencaps of episodes 136-139. I hope you enjoy them all! I am working on more for later updates, and I hope that I can finish up with the SuperS season very soon. I'd like to finish by the end of December, but hopefully, I can finish before then.

I'm also working on the summary of episode 041 today. It's a pretty big episode with a lot of information in it, so it's going to take me a while. I've also noticed that the amount of information I've collected on some characters is getting really huge! I'm changing some formatting things now, so don't be surprised if you see something new here and there. I have lots in store for this site!

I have been working on a lot of episode summaries lately! I am really excited about getting the first season done soon. That means that there will be much more information here, and the existing information will be double checked for accuracy! Providing the best info I can is really important to me. Anyway, today I added summaries for episode 038, episode 039, and episode 040. Of course, that also means I added a lot of info, which you'll find on the lists at the bottom of this post.

Check this out: Sailor Astera (of OtakuSenshi.com fame) is now offering a new resource for fanartists! Senshi Stock seeks to "provide reference images for creators of original characters, otaku senshi, within the metaseries Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon and pose references for canon Sailor Moon fanart." It's a really good idea, so I hope you'll check it out! Also, remember that you can upload show off the fanart you create right here on this site in the fanart section.

Wow, it's been a while, huh? Life's been busy. As usual! But I'm still updating a lot.

The biggest news for today is that now you can watch Sera Myu right here on the site, via flash videos (like on YouTube). I hope to add more Sera Myu at some time in the future, and maybe even change the PGSM videos to flash as well. But I am removing the video downloads for Sera Myu because they're just too big, and I think some people are having trouble downloading them. However, if you're still trying to download any files on the site and you're having problems, you can always check out this thread on the forum; it may answer some of your questions.

I also added a summary of episode 037, and I'm currently working on the summary for episode 038. That should be done pretty soon!

In other news, I've swapped links with some absolutely wonderful new sites. I hope that you will check them out and enjoy them as much as I have! Star Dusting is a screencap archive which is steadily expanding. You'll also find some great fanart images there! I've also swapped links with the owner of three great sites: Crimson Mysteria is a Sailor Pluto shrine, Orchids is a fanfiction archive, and Tempest is a shrine to romance between Nephrite and Sailor Jupiter.

Hi guys... sorry it's been a while; I've been really sick lately! But don't worry, it's just a little cold and I'm getting over it.

But I do have lots of updates for you today! I added episode summaries for episode 034, 035, and 036. As usual, I've also added or updated all of the information concerning those episodes, so look below for a list of pages I've recently added or updated!

I also added screencaps of episode 134 and 135, which have some great pictures, especially for all of you Makoto or ChibiUsa fans!

I have a few more tricks up my sleeve for the next update... including a brand new feature! Of course, forum members have already gotten a sneak peek of what will be added, so if you're involved in the forum, be sure to check out the site news.

Also... if you love the Galaxia and the animamates, you should definitely see this new up-and-coming site, ShadowGalactica.com! It has lots of great games (including a TCG), and tons of excellent pictures!

Again, I haven't updated the main page in a long time... but I have been doing random updates around the site in all this time.

I have really been working hard on SuperS screencaps! This week, I've added episodes 130-133 for your enjoyment. I also added 305 screencaps of the following attacks and transformations: Moon Gorgeous Meditation; Moon Spiral Heart Attack; Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up; Twinkle Yell; Moon Crisis, Make Up; and ChibiMoon Prism Power, Make Up.

I've only added one more summary, this one of episode 033. I am halfway through the summary of episode 034, and I really hope to complete the entire first series soon. It's so exciting for me when I finish the episode summaries, because it means that all the info on this site relating the completed episodes is updated... and much more accurate.

And as a final note, I've gotten two new affiliates! Yay! They are both excellent sites that I really hope you will check out. Senshi Card Mania-R is a very good online trading card game (TCG), and Incredible Ikuko is a shrine to Ikuko Itoh, an animation director and character designer who worked on Sailor Moon.

Oops, sorry for the lack of updates! I've been very busy lately. I have been updating a lot, but I just haven't changed the front page in a while. So I have a very large update for you today!

First of all, I did summaries of episode 031 and episode 032. Of course, that means that I also updated all the pages related to those episodes, so don't forget to check those out! I spent a lot of time making big changes to most of those pages. Keep in mind that I do summaries of the Japanese episodes only. They're not much different from the North American version, but if you are interested in reading summaries of North American episodes, you can find lots of those at my affiliate site, MoonKitty.net.

Next... I know I said I would do screencaps of the StarS season next, but I got lots of complaints about doing them out of order. So I've decided to just go ahead and do the SuperS season, so that everything is done in order. But I will be getting to the StarS season, and the movies, of course! Just be patient! It shouldn't take me very long to get through the SuperS season, especially at the rate I'm working. Today, I added 843 screencaps of episodes 128 and 129, 123 screencaps of the opening, and 58 screencaps of Sailor ChibiMoon's first transformation. That's a lot of screencaps, and you can expect more very soon!

Today was a big day for new information. I spent a very long time today working on a lot of things, but the two major things I added are summaries for episode 029 and episode 030. I also updated several pages for various characters and items, so I have a list of what I worked on today below! Many of these pages aren't entirely complete, and some are getting rewrites in the very near future. But they've all been updated so that they're much more clearly written and accurate than before!

I finished up the Sailor Moon S season screencaps today by adding 780 screencaps of episode 126 and episode 127. I will start on the Stars season next, but only because I think it is more difficult to find screencaps of that season. I will be doing the SuperS season, though... and the movies, too. So don't worry folks, everything will get screencapped! Even some Sera Myu! Just be patient :)

In other news... I've added a new feature! Remember when this page had fanart and cosplay images? Well, they're back now! Except that this time, you don't have to send them in through me... you can upload them directly from your computer to the site. Check out our brand new fanart and cosplay gallery! I still approve all images that go on there, so there won't be anything inappropriate, and I can watch out for things like theft. This is also better because you, the user, have so much more control over your images. You can also get comments and feedback. I've added a few of the older images to get the ball rolling, so I hope you will start adding yours soon as well! I love looking at everyone's artwork and cosplay images.

More screen caps for you today! I finished up episode 125, which means there are just two more episodes of Sailor Moon S left for me to cap! Then I'll get started on Sailor Moon Stars.

I also did another episode summary today, this time for episode 028. I added some new pages to accompany that summary, I edited some old pages, and I added a "Did You Notice?" page for it, as well. I hope that I can finish summarizing the first season soon! It's hard work!

And... I have a new feature for you guys, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow when I have it ready! I'll just say that all of you fan artists and cosplayers should get ready. *wink wink* As always, if you want the first scoop about new features that are coming to The Oracle, don't forget to check out the forum!

Now that my video card is fixed, I am like a screen capping maniac! I'm hitting my Sailor Moon DVDs like crazy. Today, I was able to add 393 screencaps of episode 124... another excellent episode with some great shots, so don't miss it! I'm almost done with the S season, then I'll start work on the Stars season, just because there are too few caps of that great season online.

I also added 263 images of attacks and transformations. That gallery is really expanding quickly! I hope to add some more images to it soon. For today, I added images of the following: Venus Power, Make Up; Crescent Beam; Crescent Beam Shower; Moon Princess Halation; Supreme Thunder Dragon; Sabão Spray Freezing; and Fire Soul Bird.
